A family classic

More than 35 years of memories—and counting

Long before Making Classic Memories became a business, Ole' Belle was part of our family. My father purchased this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible more than 35 years ago, beginning a family story that has traveled through decades, celebrations and countless miles.

Over the years, Ole' Belle has been far more than a beautiful classic car. She has carried family memories, drawn smiles wherever she goes and proudly participated in the Thanksgiving Day parade in Charlotte, North Carolina, for multiple years.

Making Classic Memories was created so other families could share that feeling. Today, every booking is personally coordinated and every celebration is treated as part of Ole' Belle's continuing story—one wedding, quinceañera, formal and milestone at a time.

The man behind the memories

In Memory of Bill Vickers

Ole' Belle's story begins with my father, Bill Vickers. His passion for classic cars was visible in every hour he spent caring for them, every story he shared and every turn of the ignition.

He believed these cars were meant to be enjoyed, not simply admired. Long before Making Classic Memories had a name, he was already using Ole' Belle to help people celebrate and discover how special a ride in a true classic can feel.

Today, sharing Ole' Belle with other families allows his passion to keep moving forward. Every entrance, photograph and happy wave from the back seat carries a little of his legacy with it.
